The Warren H. Timmerman Charitable Foundation has surpassed the $2 million mark with their 2021 grant distributions. Iowa Savings Bank, the foundation’s trustee, reports that 13 grants from 19 applications totaling more than $152,000 will be awarded this year. The terms of the trust stipulate that at least half of the money gifted goes to Manning projects. The cities of Dedham, Breda and Manning will all be receiving a portion of the funding for projects from installation of a music system and child-care equipment to assistance with remodeling, the purchase of fire truck equipment and creation of a kayak launching area. Since its inception, the Warren H. Timmerman Charitable Foundation has awarded just over $2,106,000 for charitable projects in Carroll County.
