No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident around midday today (Monday) in Carroll that totaled one of the cars involved. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched at approximately 12:05 p.m. to the scene at the intersection of Kittyhawk Avenue and Market Street. Their initial investigation determined a 2008 GMC Yukon, driven by 37-year-old Amanda Jo Quandt of Carroll, was traveling eastbound on Market and failed to yield from a posted stop sign. As she entered the intersection, the GMC collided with the front passenger’s side of a southbound 2016 Dodge Charger, driven by 42-year-old Jonathon Curtis Pogge-Weaver of Carroll. The Dodge sustained disabling damage estimated at $10,000 and needed to be towed from the scene. Damage to the SUV is estimated at $5,000. Quandt was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
