A local manufacturer will be moving from the fields to toyboxes as they partner in the creation of a line of farm implement toys. Puck Enterprises of Manning, a liquid transfer equipment and technologies design and production facility has partnered with SpecCast Collectibles to create a line of toys that are based on their products. The company at first only accepted on-line pre-orders of the die-cast, 1:64 scale equipment pieces, but they are now available for purchase. “Part of our mission statement and company values are higher quality of life and enjoyment,” says President and CEO, Jeremy Puck. “Toys satisfy this—there’s a kid in all of us, and it’s fun to go back to those memories through toys. I’m excited we are able to provide these to our industry and all the kids that want to be just like their dad or family business—like myself.” Many of the toys will come with a scaled-down hose, representing a Puck subsidiary, BullDog Hose Company’s iconic orange Mainline ™ and Drag Hose ™ liquid transportation hoses. The toys are on display at the Puck Enterprises headquarters south of Manning and will be displayed in the Puck booth during the World Pork Expo, which is going on now. They will be in the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
