Carroll and Kuemper At Storm Lake Invitational
Kuemper competed for the tournament title on a hot and windy Saturday and Carroll High was in the hunt for a upper division finish before finishing near the middle of the pack. The Knights shot a 362 and finished in 2nd place 8 strokes behind the champions Spencer Tigers with a 354. The Carroll Tigers were 6th with a 375 and were only 7 strokes from finishing 4th and 11 strokes from 3rd place Newell Fonda who shot a 364. Kuemper had two guys in the top 10 and all all four scores 95 or below. Carroll had a top 5 finish and had all four of their scores 98 or below.
Drew Munson of Carroll was 4th with an 86 while Mitchell Badding of Kuemper took 6th with an 87 and was followed by Maverick Schwabe of Kuemper was 8th with a 88. Benicio Lujano shot a 92, Jack Tiefenthaler a 95, Tyler Auen a 96 and Carter Putney a 100 for Kuemper. Will Ragaller of Carroll finished 2nd on the Tigers with a 94, Ty Nissen had a 97, Bryce Berlau and Collin Schultes 98 and Dreylen Schweitzer a 111 for Carroll.

Panorama and AC-GC At Coon Rapids Bayard Tournament
Coon Rapids Bayard was 3rd at their tournament on Saturday. It was a very windy day at the course in Coon Rapids and the heat and wind did impact the scores. Panorama continues a strong start to their season winning the team title with a 352, AC-GC was 2nd with a 355 and Coon Rapids Bayard shot a 367. The Crusaders had their top four scores all come in under 100 with one score below 90.
Jacob Estrada led the Crusaders with an 87, Preston McAlister shot a 90 one stroke ahead of Josh Ramirez with a 91. Jeffrey Kracht shot a 99 and Trey Rosenbeck added a 107.
Ryan Klinge of Panorama, Brice Taylor of Panorama and Seth Danker of AC-GC all shot a tournament low 82.

East Sac and South Central Calhoun At OA-BCIG Tournament At Ida Grove
East Sac had a strong showing on Saturday with a 3rd place finish and five of their six scorers under 97. The Raiders finished with a team score of 365 and were 11 strokes behind the tournament champion in Kingsley Pierson who shot a 354. St Edmond was 2nd with a 357. South Central Calhoun finished 6th with a 374 but were only 7 strokes out of 4th place and 9 strokes behind East Sac. The Titans ha two golfers shoot in the mid 80’s and three of their top 4 scores were 90 or below.
Corey Hicks paced the Titans with a 84 and finished in 3rd place overall, Justin Hanks of South Central Calhoun was 4th with an 85 sneaking past Dylan Meredith of East Sac who also shot an 85 and finished 5th. Bradyn Burns of East Sac has been scoring well this season and finished with a 90 followed by Joel Halbur 94, Jackson Stoltenberg and Caleb Villhauer each 96 and Joe Langbein 104. Bryan Steig of South Central Calhoun is routinely one of their top scorers and shot a 90, Keaton Daniel added a 115 for South Central Calhoun and was followed by Brady Schumacher 116 and Kayden Isaacs with a 135.
Axton Miller of OA-BCIG won the tournament with a 77 and Drew Schaefer of St Edmond was 2nd with a 80.
