Kuemper was dominant at home on Friday as they picked up their fifth win of the season improving to 5-5 overall heading into the Boone Tournament on Saturday. The Knights got out quick and found goals easy to come by in the 1st half building a 9-0 lead by half. They shared the ball very well kicking assists on all 10 goals in the match. The great passing started with Kenya Prescott who finished with 4 assists, Catherine Mayhall added a pair of assists and Kiley Trecker, Kora Thomsen, Karly Baumhover and Amy Moreno each had an assist. Prescott favorite targets included Mayhall who led the Knights with 4 goals. Kiley Trecker and Kora Thomsen were also outstanding with 2 goals each. Kenya Prescott added a goal to her assists on 5 shots and Meredith Friedrichsen also added a goal on 4 shots. Kuemper took 23 shots on goal as a team. As good as the offense was the defense was just as outstanding as Julia Mikkelsen and her teammates kept the Panthers at bay and helped their two goalies finish with perfect nights. Ashlyn Badding had 4 saves on 4 shots on goal and Lauren Boell added a save on one shot on goal.
