Kuemper picked up their second win this week with an impressive performance in a 6-0 win over cross-town rival Carroll High. The Knights kept the pressure on the Carroll defense and were able to score their first goal of the night at the 30:18 mark of the 1st half when Catherine Mayhall slipped a shot into the net. Mayhall had a couple breakaways prior but Jayden Kirsch did a nice job in goal not giving her an open look at the net. Mayhall extended the lead for Kuemper to 2-0 at the 23:17 mark and it held at 2-0 until half. Carroll High had a chance to get on the board as Mary Perkins had a nice shot on goal but Kuemper goalie Ashlyn Badding made a nice play to make the stop.
