The East Sac Raiders were unable to gain the advantage in a losing effort against West Central Valley Monday night. All four of West Central Valley’s goals came in the first half. The Raiders had one corner kick on the night while Nick Crabb ended his night with a strong second half performance and 11 saves. The Raiders fall to 0-3 on the season as West Central Valley improves to 3-1

The Raiders are in action next when they face off against Humboldt on Tuesday, April 13th.

Kuemper at Harlan

Harlan: 1

The Kuemper Knights were able to edge by Harlan in the second half of Monday’s soccer matchup.  Harlan started off the contest with a 1-0 lead in the first half and kept that lead through halftime. The Knights wasted no time in the second half, tying up the game at one goal apiece with only five minutes off the clock. The Knights kept the offensive pressure on and scored again five minutes later making it 2-1 in their favor. Kuemper’s game allowed them to run out the clock and close out the game with a 2-1 victory.

Individually for the Knights, Max Burnett recorded one goal as did Simon Wagner along with one assist. Noah Bauer recorded an assist of his own in this contest. On the defensive side of the field, John Mayhall recorded three saves. The Knights improve to 1-0 on the season as Harlan falls to 0-5 on the season. 

The Knights are in action next when they face off against St. Albert on Friday, April 16th.
