A Carroll man accused of operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent was indicted last week in Carroll County District Court. Trial information filed by prosecutors shows 32-year-old Brandon Dennis Blunk is charged with a single aggravated misdemeanor count for allegedly taking a 2014 Chevrolet Impala from the 1800 block of Randall Road on March 14. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for Thursday, April 22. This is the latest in a series of charges filed against Blunk in recent months. He faces three counts of third-degree burglary in connection to reported thefts from vehicles in Breda and Carroll. He is also scheduled for trial near the end of spring in Sac County District Court on a drug trafficking charge following an 18-month investigation by the Sac County Sheriff’s Office.
