Audubon and IKM-Manning At Carroll Co-Ed

It was a good night for the area schools with Carroll winning their Co-Ed meet, Audubon in 3^rd and IKM-Manning taking 5^th. The Tigers pulled away with a 142 points to Roland Story’s 118 points in 2^nd place. Audubon finished with 106 points, Greene County was 4^th with 63 and IKM-Manning finished with 59. The Tigers won eight events. Audubon finished with five 1^st place finishes and IKM-Manning had one.

Hannah Jorgensen of Carroll won another 200 Meters in 27.70. Carroll also had Madison Tunning claiming a pair of individual championships in the 100 Hurdles in 17.32 and the 400 Hurdles in 1:14.83. Marie Dea of Carroll won the 1500 Meters in 5:49.82 and was second in the 300 Meters in 12:25.16. The battle for the crown in the discus was a fun one to watch. Elizabeth Zaiger of Audubon through a personal best of 116-06 on her first throw to win, Vanessa Ayala challenged her with a personal best of her own on her 3^rd throw finishing 2^nd with a 113-08. Hannah Thygesen of Audubon finished first in the 800 Meters in 2:34.95. Alexa Ahrenholtz of IKM-Manning won another High Jump with a 4-11 while taking 2^nd in the 100 Meters in 13.49. Bianca Cadwell of IKM-Manning was 2^nd in the 400 Meters in 1:08.51, Grace Slater of Audubon was 2^nd in the 1500 Meters in 5:54.41 and Kodie Sporrer of Audubon was 2^nd in the 400 Hurdles in 1:18.22. Carroll won the 4×100 in 52.93 with Libby Perkins, Hannah Jorgensen, Kennedy Thein and Shay Sinnard. The Tigers also claimed the 4×200 in 1:51.78 with Brenna Goins, Hannah Jorgensen, Libby Perkins and Shay Sinnard. Audubon did well in the relays as well winning the 4×400 with Abigail Zaiger, Mattie Nielsen, Madison Steckler and Hannah Thygesen in 4:26.65, the Shuttle Hurdle in 1:15.20 with Madison Steckler, Mattie Nielsen, Madison Burr and Katelyn Nielsen and the Distance Medley with Abigail Zaiger, Madison Steckler, Mattie Nielsen and Hannah Thygesen in 4:44.02. Carroll was 2^nd in the distance Medley with Josie Ayala, Kennedy Thein, Ava Gross and Marie Dea in 4:49.24. The Wheelers grabbed a second place in the 4×800 with Hannah Thygesen, Mattie Nielsen, Kodie Sporrer and Grace Slater in 11:09.36. Team Standings
