Kuemper played solid in their opening match loss as they continue to try different lineups to learn where everyone fits best to help the team become as strong as possible. Kuemper was able to get some shots on net but were outshot 12-6. Ashlyn Badding did a nice job in net finishing with 10 saves. Kora Thomsen and Karly Baumhover each had a shot and Catherine Mayhall took 4 shots.
The final match of the day was tougher as the Bulldogs were able to get several open looks against the Kuemper defense putting a lot of pressure on the goal. The Knights struggled containing the shooters for Van Meter and were outshot 20-10. Ashlyn Badding had a busy evening but was able to make 7 saves. Kenya Prescott, Catherine Mayhall and Karly Baumhover each had a shot.
