Rewind All-Star Festivities Information
- Sunday, March 14th
- Doors open At Carroll High at 12:30.
- All-Star Games for seniors starts at 1:00 at Carroll High Gym
- Play a 20 minute continuous clock for girls and then boys if we have enough to keep them separated otherwise do 20 minutes of just one game with girls and boys playing together.
- Girls and Boys 3 Point Shooting Contest between games- Shoot-Off between winners
- Spot Shot contest following games
- Awards Ceremony following spot shot contest
- 2 tickets per player and coach invited
- Masks will be worn when not playing and by people in the stands
- Only seniors can play in the All-Star game under State and NCAA rules but all kids are eligible to compete in the 3-point contest, spot shot contest and awards ceremony.
- Seniors playing in the game please arrive around 12:30 to change and get warmed up for game and announcements of rosters
- Seniors not playing in the game but attending and all other kids please be there around 1:00 to participate in the other contests.
3 Point shooting contest rules
- 3 carts with 5 balls each. Carts on the top of key, corner and wing
- 40 seconds to shoot the ball
- 1st 4 balls worth 1 point, last ball on each rack worth 5 points
- If we have tie we will do a 30 second shoot-off
Spot Shot Contest
- There will be 5 areas on the floor to shoot from. Each spot will be worth different points. Get 30 seconds to shoot as many shots as the player can. Person with the most points wins.
- If there is a tie we will have a 15 second shoot-off
Awards Ceremony
- Each player no matter what grade will be honored with a T-Shirt and a certificate. Coaches of the Year will also be honored with a shirt and a certificate.
