Linda Johnson, age 72 of Early, IA, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Grandview Care Center in Dayton, IA. Linda Marie Dettman was born on January 11, 1949, to parents Erman G. and A. Marie Dettman in Sac City, IA. She grew up near Yetter, IA, and graduated from Sac City High School with the Class of 1967.
On December 10, 1976, Linda was united in marriage to Randel Ray Johnson. They made their home on a farm near Early, IA. Linda was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening. She and Randy raised cattle and enjoyed farming together. Life on the farm brought her so much joy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Randy Johnson of Early, IA; several in-laws; many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Erman and Marie Dettman.
Public funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City, IA. Burial will take place at the Cedar Cemetery in rural Sac City, IA.
