Denison Woman Arrested In Storm Lake On Outstanding Warrants Also Faces Felony Drug Charges

A Denison woman wanted on outstanding arrest warrants was taken into custody last week in Buena Vista County. According to the Storm Lake Police Department, 36-year-old Nikki Segebart, who was wanted on two Pottawattamie County warrants connected to controlled substance violation charges, was located in the 200 block of W. Milwaukee Avenue at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Authorities say approximately 14 grams of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found in her possession at the time of her arrest. Segebart was transported to the Buena Vista County jail and charged with controlled substance violation, a class B felony, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor, in addition to outstanding warrants. As of Monday afternoon, Segebart remained in custody on a $25,000 bond.
