Only one area county has a two-week COVID-19 positivity rate over 20 percent, but the regional death toll has increased by five. As of 6 a.m. this (Friday) morning, Crawford County ranked 15th in the state with a 20.8 percent positivity rate and had one additional coronavirus-related death, bringing their total to 16. They have 1,906 positive cases with 1,594 recovered. Greene County has also seen an increase in their death count by three, now reporting five with an 11.4 percent positivity rate, 577 positives and 389 recovered. And Calhoun County has reported an additional death, now at eight. They have an 11.6 percent rate, 1,128 positives, 861 recovered and eight deaths. In the rest of the region: Carroll is at 16.3 percent with 2,134 positives, 1,659 recovered and 22 deaths; Audubon remains third lowest in the two-week positivity rankings with 10.3 percent, 324 positives, 247 recovered and six deaths; Guthrie County has a 16.5 percent rate, 840 positives, 608 recovered and 22 deaths; and Sac County is 24th in the state rankings at 19 percent with 961 positives, 640 recovered and nine deaths.
