Don Everhart of Lohrville, 70, died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. with a funeral service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Lampe & Powers Funeral Home in Lake City. Burial will be held at a later date.
Donald Dale Everhart was born on August 27, 1950 in Lake City, Iowa to Ralph and Elizabeth (Daisy) Everhart and was raised by his grandmother, Myrtle Everhart. He graduated from high school in 1970 and on October 31, 1975, Don married Viola Kelley in Lake City. He worked for 27 years at Air Electric Machine Company in Lohrville then for 16 years as direct support at Opportunity Living in Lake City.
Don is survived by his daughters Kelly Wirth of Carroll and Michelle (Richie) Sales of Lohrville, grandchildren Bailey Rose, Taylor Everhart, Robin Everhart, and Harley Sales, great-grandson Jaxon Rose, and brother Jerry (Shari) Everhart of Farnhamville. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Myrtle Everhart, wife Viola, and brothers Robert and Gary “Skip” Everhart.
