The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident Sunday south of Ralston at approximately 5:41 p.m. The driver, 19-year-old Samantha Isabel Menjivar of Coon Rapids, was traveling west in the 200 block of 240th Street when a deer ran into the roadway. She lost control of the 2013 Ford Edge she was driving and the vehicle rolled one time, coming to rest on the tires. Menjivar was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Emergency Medical Services with possible injuries. There was an estimated $20,000 in damage to the Edge. The Scranton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
