Audubon County Sheriff’s Office And CrimeStoppers Announce Reward In Exira Theft Case

A reward is being offered in the theft of tools and batteries in Exira. The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office shared information from Audubon County CrimeStoppers over the weekend, announcing up to $2,000 in reward money available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the theft. The Sheriff’s Office was notified that between Nov. 14 and Nov. 19 several Dewalt brand tools and accessories along with other items, such as a Spectra Precision laser level, chain saw, grease gun, flashlights and more were stolen from an Exira location. Anyone with information about the incident or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during that timeframe is asked to contact either the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-563-2631 or Audubon County CrimeStoppers at 712-563-2234.
