As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the region, Sac County Conservation Naturalist, Kristen Bieret, is encouraging families to start a new tradition with a self-guided turkey hunt. The free event will be held from Thursday, Nov. 26 to Monday, Nov 30 at Hagge Park near Sac City. Starting off at the Conservation Center parking lot, family groups can hunt for the hidden turkey and feathers and learn fun new turkey facts along the way. They ask that people be respectful of others during their outing and maintain appropriate social distances.
