Noise And Rental Housing Ordinances, Recreation Fees And Long-Term Priorities On The Carroll Council Agenda Monday

There will be three ordinance readings coming before the Carroll City Council at their next meeting on Monday. City Manager, Mike Pogge-Weaver, says one could move to adoption that night.

One of the other two has been discussed at recent meetings and another in the works for more than two years.

Pogge-Weaver adds the council will also hold a work session as a follow-up to the Oct. 29 annual planning session. They will review the priorities that have been identified, that include a tie in those at the top.

Also in the top is the continuation of acquiring and rehabilitating properties and support of a local inclusive initiative.

Other items making that long list include train horn mitigation and a review of the Rec Center project and a plan to go to another referendum vote in November of next year. The 5:15 p.m. meeting on Monday, Nov. 9 will be aired live on local access cable channels and those interested can join through several different digital options. A link with details on how to do so and to the full packet of information can be found below.
