Carroll Girls Swim 5th at Johnston on Saturday- Qualify State Event and Break School Record

Carroll At Johnston Invite

Carroll finished 5^th on Saturday as they qualified their 6^th event for the State Swim meet with Melea Axman advancing in the 100 Butterfly.  She finished 3^rd in the event but swam a qualifying time of 59.45. Emma Myers has been pushing hard all season to break the school record in the 100 breast and was able to get it with a 1:06.96. That broke the record held by Karli Payer from 2010 at 1:08.31. Myers finished 2^nd in the breast stroke.

The 200 medley relay team of Bailey St Peter, Emma Myers, Melea Axman and Amelia Holt finished 4^th while those 4 girls took 3^rd in the 200 free relay. Axman won the 50 Free in a time of 24.56.  Emma Myers was 3^rd in the 200 IM.
