Several items were reported missing from the apartment of a man who is currently incarcerated. The Jefferson Police Department responded to the report at approximately 11:11 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Westwood Drive. The mother of the apartment’s occupant told authorities she had last been at the residence on Friday, Sept. 11 and all was in order. On Monday, she found several items of clothing and two bicycles were missing. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can contact the department at 515-386-2136.
