Carroll Woman Sentenced To Two Days In Jail For June Assault

A Carroll woman charged following a June altercation has been ordered to serve two days in jail. According to Carroll County District Court records, 36-year-old Kelly Lynn Pike pled guilty to one count of assault, a simple misdemeanor, and was sentenced last week to 30 days in jail with all but two days suspended. Pike was also placed on informal probation to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office for one year. The charge stems from an incident on June 25 in the 700 block of N. East Street. A Carroll Police Department affidavit says Pike struck an individual unprovoked, resulting in a laceration to the victim’s face.
