The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reports a 14-year-old male was killed in a personal watercraft accident Tuesday on Clear Lake. The incident occurred at approximately noon when two watercrafts collided. The 12-year-old operator of the second one received minor injuries to the face and the passenger on that craft was uninjured. The DNR was assisted by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office and the Clear Lake Fire and Rescue Department. The accident remains under investigation.
