Charges are pending against a Carroll man following an accident last Thursday morning. The Carroll Police Department responded to Casey’s east on U.S. Highway 30 at approximately 8:10 a.m. Upon arrival, they learned a 2006 Ford Mustang, driven by 18-year-old Edward Goff, had pulled into the lot, drove over the curb and struck the front of the building. No injuries were reported, but there was damage to the exterior and the interior of the building and functional damage to the Mustang. Following a search and the seizure of marijuana, Goff was arrested for possession. Operating while intoxicated charges are pending the return of test results from the Division of Criminal Investigation laboratory.
