The Lake View City Council has entered into a development agreement with a local business to construct a new dental office in the community’s downtown district. The agreement concerns the now vacant lot at 408 Main Street. According to Administrator, Scott Peterson, city officials have been working to rehabilitate this property for the past several years.
Peterson adds the building across the road at 413 Main Street is owned by Zugspitze, LLC. He says they had originally planned to convert that building into a dental facility for Lake View Family Dentistry. However, those plans changed when the other property became available.
He says the agreement does not involve any exchange of money between the two entities and will hopefully result in the addition of two improved buildings to the town’s property tax roll. The Lake View City Council approved the proposed development agreement unanimously at their Monday, Aug. 3 meeting.
