Online student registration for the 2020/21 school year ends a week from today (Friday) for parents and guardians within the South Central Calhoun (SCC) Community School District. Registration forms are located on the district’s website at www.scc.k12.ia.us. For returning students, families should log on using their JMC Parent account and password. Once in, parents who wish to apply for free and reduced school meals should fill out the necessary forms found within the parent portal. Registration can then be completed through the “Registration for 2020-21” link by providing demographic, emergency contact and health information along with parental consent and acknowledgement forms. This must be done for each student to be registered. Fees can be paid either online or by mailing a check to the district office. New students can be registered in a similar manner, but parents must first complete an enrollment application, which can be found on the district’s website. Online registration at SCC is open through Friday, Aug. 7. Families needing additional assistance are encouraged to call the district office 712-297-7341 to schedule a time to register in-person at the school.
