For the past six decades, a foundational organization has been supporting junior and senior high school students at Kuemper Catholic Schools. The Century Club will be holding their annual kick-off in less than two weeks, and Kuemper President, John Steffes, says the goodwill club started in the 1960s to support their mission of bolstering the minds, bodies and souls of the students. “The Century Club is there for all our Kuemper Knights, such as the seventh-grade cross country runner or the freshman clarinet player in the band or the senior linebacker on the varsity football team. Our young Knights are busy growing and improving throughout the entire school year and the Century Club is always behind them.” The club raises more than $70,000 for extra-curricular activities and is the primary source of funding for everything from sports, to mock trial, speech, plays and musicals and much more. Every penny of each pass purchased through the Century Club goes to support the 95 percent of high school students participating in at least one activity. Changes made this year add to the standard non-tournament home game and meet entrance with entry into all junior high games and meets—a $425 value. A new level, the Templar Knight, has also been added. There is a value of over $900 for a $225 investment including two passes, name inclusion on Kuemper’s website and in all home football programs, unlimited popcorn at home athletic events and two passes to both the high school play and the musical. Digital passes will again be available to those purchasing membership online, a link to which is included below along with a listing of co-chairs, contact information for coordinator, Cindy Lawler, and a chart of the levels available.
