MRHC Adds Another Expert For Orthopedic Services

Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) will be offering additional orthopedic services beginning on Friday, July 17. Dr. Thomas Atteberry, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a sports medicine fellowship will be focusing on knee ACL reconstruction, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff tears and total knee replacements. He will also provide care for those suffering chronic and acute pain resulting from conditions such as joint pain and arthritis, muscle strains and tears, soft tissue injuries, meniscus tears, tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow. “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Atteberry to Manning Regional,” says CEO Linn Block. “He is skilled in so many facets of orthopedic surgery and welcomes pediatric patients as well. Dr. Atteberry will be a wonderful addition to the other orthopedic specialists in our specialty clinic.” Dr. Atteberry received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Iowa and his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency with the University of Kansas Medical Center in orthopedic surgery and his sports medicine fellowship in Houston, Texas.
