Carroll pounded out 18 hits including 7 extra base hits. Sydney Haakenson ended the game with a double in the 6th driving in 2 runs. Her double was the 4th of the game for Carroll, Josie Ayala and Ashley Onken both homered and Hannah Jorgensen tripled. Josie Ayala, Onken, Vanessa Ayala and Haakenson all finished with 2 RBI. Chloe Gallegos and Vanessa Ayala were perfect at the plate with each going 4-4. Onken finished with 3 hits and Josie Ayala and Ava Gross each had 2 hits. Averi Burke scored 4 runs.
Haakenson had one of her best nights in the circle giving up just 2 runs on 5 hits.
The win moves Carroll to 3-3 on the season as they head to Storm Lake on Thursday.

A big inning for Red Oak in the 4th dropped the Knights to 3-5 on the season. Kuemper got off to a nice start and grabbed a 5-1 lead entering the bottom half of the 4th. The Tigers added 3 more in the 5th. Kuemper fought back scoring 2 in the 6th and got a 2-run Home Run from Hailey Ostrander in the 7th but it came with two outs and the Knights couldn’t squeeze out another run.
Brianna Lux continues to swing a hot bat and finished 4-4 with a pair of doubles. Kyndal Hilgenberg, Jordan Schwabe, Ostrander, Kamryn Venner and Kenadee Loew all had two hits as Kuemper pounded out 16 hits. Schwabe had a pair of doubles. Ostrander and Kiley Trecker each had a pair of RBI.
Kuemper will travel to Clarinda on Friday night.

The Raiders fell down early but kept attacking on offense and battled back. Maty Quirk and Maci Gustavson led the offensive attack with 4 hits each. Mariah Friedrichsen and Meredith Brown each had 3 hits. Josie Bontrager Bree Boeckman, Makayla Miller and Mary Bontrager picked up 2 hits each. Gustavson led the way with 3 RBI while Quirk, Josie B, Boeckman, Friedrichsen and Miller added 2 RBI each.
The win moves the Raiders to 2-5 as they prepare to host Ar-We-Va on Thursday night.

The Titans dropped their second straight game to fall to 2-2 on the season. The Titans came out a little nervous and keyed up and had 4 errors giving up 5 unearned runs in the 1st inning. The Mustangs scored 6 runs in the 1st and added 2 more in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings.

Glidden Ralston tried to rally in the 7th and scored 5 times but the rally fell short as they fall on the road and drop to 3-3 while CAM improved to 4-3. The Wildcats took a 3-1 lead in the top of the 3rd when they scored 3 runs but the Cougars responded with 6 in their half. They added 3 more in the 5th to go up 10-4.
The Wildcats had 9 hits with Jozey Gump taking one deep for a 3-Run Home Run. She finished 2-5. Talia Schon had the other extra base hit with a double and went 2-4. Macy Snyder added a 2-4 night. Kim Daily and Morgan Koehler each drove in a pair of runs.

The tough luck season continued for Coon Rapids Bayard though they may have taken a few steps forward. The defense played their best game of the season. The offense gained some confidence late and scored a pair of runs in the 6th to send the game into extra innings.
Miranda Garcia led off the 6th with a double and scored on a double by Alaya Betts. Breeley Clayburg came up clutch with a single to right moving Bridget Shirbroun who was running for Betts to 3rd. Lacie Davis then laid down a sac bunt to score Shirbroun.
Coon Rapids Bayard threatened in the 8th with runners on 2nd and 3rd but didn’t score.
The game ended in the bottom of the 8th when Woodbine got a leadoff walk off home run.
The Crusaders committed just 1 error in the game. Lexie Davis had a great game at 3rd base with 4 put outs and 4 assists. She made a couple fantastic plays diving and scooping the ball before getting up and throwing out the runner at 1st.
