Iowa 4th District Congressional Candidate, J.D. Scholten, Announces Plans To Visit All 378 Towns In The District Before Nov. 3 Election

Democratic candidate for Iowa’s Fourth Congressional District, J.D. Scholten, has announced plans to visit every community within the district before voters head to the polls on Nov. 3. In an email to supporters on Wednesday, Scholten says he and his team will travel to all 378 towns in the 39 counties at least once in his RV, nicknamed Sioux City Sue, over the next 130 days. Scholten plans to host socially distant events in each community so constituents can safely hear from the candidate, and they can bring their concerns to him. Scholten was uncontested in the June Democratic primary. His Republican challenger, Randy Feenstra of Hull, defeated longtime incumbent, Steve King, in the GOP’s primary.
