In early February, representatives from Carroll’s Pella plant participated in a tour of St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Clinic and learned more about the new regional Cancer Center currently under construction. During that tour, Plant Manager, Dustin Katje, and Human Resources Manager, Jeff Heuton, presented a $25,000 gift on behalf of the Pella Rolscreen Foundation. Katje said they were pleased the foundation had chosen to support this important project. “We know this will be a great benefit to many people, including our employees and their families, so that they don’t have to travel long distances for quality care.” The Pella Rolscreen Foundation provides grants, invests in youth and education and undertakes service projects to help progressively shape the communities in which Pella Corporation team members live and work. The 21,000 square foot, $16.5 million facility is expected to be open to patients in the fall of this year.
