Several railroad crossings in Carroll were temporarily closed Tuesday afternoon due to issues with the railroad crossing arms at the junctions. At approximately 1:34 p.m., the Carroll Communication Center received a report that the Carroll, Clark, Main and Maple Street intersections were impassible. Union Pacific quickly dispatched crews for repairs, and as of 3:30 p.m., all affected intersections have reopened.
