A Council Bluffs man has been accused of theft in an incident in Carroll Saturday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department reports they were notified by Walmart at approximately 5:27 p.m. that over $330-worth of merchandise was taken without payment. Upon completion of an initial investigation, 23-year-old Zach Petersen was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree theft.
