No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department was called to the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Market Street, near Walmart, at approximately 5:51 p.m. The initial investigation revealed 33-year-old Ashley Ricke of Arcadia was entering Highway 30 from Market on a green light. A 2006 GMC Sierra, driven by 32-year-old David Williams of Carroll was westbound on 30 at that time and failed to stop for the red light. He struck the 2012 Buick Enclave Ricke was driving, disabling both vehicles. Williams was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
