Carroll City Manager, Mike Pogge-Weaver, has reported that as of early last week, work on a delayed portion of the Carroll Public Library renovation project was able to move forward. Crews had been awaiting the arrival of the elevator, which was originally due to be delivered and installed in late December. It was finally received last Tuesday, and work was able to commence on getting it in place. Other finishing items are wrapping up—the audio visual component installation is now categorized as substantially completed and more shelving has been installed. The Carroll Public Library Foundation is planning to host a pre-opening preview for stakeholders and media prior to their official opening.
