The Sac City Police Department reports they have arrested a man in connection to a garage burglary last month. Authorities initiated an investigation into the incident on Nov. 27 and say the suspects entered the garage, jacked up the automobile and stole all four tires and the rims, along with several other smaller items from inside the structure. The Sac City Police Department identified 27-year-old David Matthew Glenn of Sac City as a potential suspect and executed a search warrant at his apartment in the 100 block of North 5th Street on Dec. 3. During their search, officers located evidence from the Nov. 27 burglary. Glenn was taken into custody and charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony. He remains in custody at the Sac County jail. The Sac City and Lake View Police Departments and Sac County Sheriff’s Office then executed a second search warrant on Dec. 6 at a residence in Calhoun County and recovered the stolen tires and rims. Charges are pending against several other suspects, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
