Flags To Fly At Half-Staff In Honor Of Chief Justice Mark Cady

Iowa Gov., Kim Reynolds, has ordered all flags in the state to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Iowa Supreme Court Chief Justice, Mark Cady. Cady died unexpectedly Friday of a heart attack. Flags are to remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Cady’s memorial service, Wednesday, Nov. 20. The order will be followed at the State Capitol Building and at the flag displays in the Capitol Complex, on all public buildings and grounds and facilities throughout the state. Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly the flags at half-staff for the same length of time.
