A Manilla woman already accused of felony forgery in District Court for Carroll County now has another charge filed against her. According to court records, the Carroll Police Department issued a summons to appear to 38-year-old Crystal Fayth Marie Bates for passing two fraudulent checks totaling over $600 at the Carroll Bomgaars on Sept. 10 and 11. An investigation by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office found Bates also forged checks at Waspy’s Truck Stop in Templeton on those same dates.
