Coon Rapids residents are asked to take a moment out of their days to complete a brief survey by 5 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. Public input will assist Main Street Coon Rapids in creating and expanding strategies for future development in the community’s downtown. The deadline for participants to provide opinions on a variety of issues and their demographic information has been extended to Wednesday, Sept. 4. As of Tuesday morning, 275 of the 300 necessary entries have been received, but Main Street officials hope to have as many people as possible respond to the survey. All responses will remain completely anonymous. On Wednesday, Sept. 25, Main Street Iowa and Main Street Coon Rapids will host a community conversation to share the results and potential plans for the future of the downtown district. The survey takes approximately five to 10 minutes to complete and can be filled out online. A link to the questionnaire is included with this story on our website.
