No one was injured, but a skid loader is likely an entire loss in a fire Wednesday afternoon. The Carroll Fire and Police Departments responded to the report at 820 W. 6th Street at approximately 4:06 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the engine of the skid loader on fire. Fire Chief, Greg Schreck, says they were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. He says the fire had obviously originated in the engine compartment of the vehicle, but the exact cause has not yet been determined.
