A motorcyclist sustained only minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday evening southwest of Rippey. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Rippey Fire Department and Greene County Emergency Medical Services all responded to the scene on 305th Street at V Avenue at approximately 7:49 p.m. Sixty-three-year-old David Alderson of Perry was negotiating the curve on a 2003 Harley-Davidson when he hit loose gravel and lost control. There was an estimated $2,000 in damage to the motorcycle and Alderson was transported for treatment by a private party.
