The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has scheduled two meetings for the first week of June. They will start the work week with their regularly scheduled meeting, on Monday, June 3 at 9 a.m. in the board room at the Carroll County Courthouse. There is a light agenda for the meeting that will open with a Fiscal Year 2020 workers compensation renewal discussion and a deferred compensation minimum interest rate guarantee. They will then review for approval retail cigarette/tobacco applications and manure management annual updates before adjourning. The following day, Tuesday, June 4, they will reconvene for a jail project update in the same board room at 9 a.m. Architects and engineers with Shive-Hattery will be in attendance as the plans enter the final stages in preparation for the bid letting. Both meetings are open to the public.
