New Practitioner At MRHC, Hope Jensen, Will Begin Seeing Patients May 13

A new Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), will begin seeing patients at Manning Regional Healthcare Center’s Family Practice Clinic on May 13. Hope Jensen, ARNP, CDE, is an Audubon native and has 19 years of experience as a nurse, 12 of those as an ARNP. She is returning from a year off spent expanding her knowledge on diabetic education. Chief Nursing Officer, Linn Block, says they are excited to have Jensen joining their team. “Not only is she highly skilled and experienced, but she is also from this area and understands the needs of our patients.” Jensen’s focus will be on families and caring for patients of all ages, she is also certified as a Menopause Practitioner and a Diabetes Educator. This will provide Jensen the opportunity to give patients extra support through specific treatments and additional information to those suffering from either condition. An open house to welcome and introduce her to area residents will be held on Wednesday, May 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the MRHC conference rooms. Jensen received a bachelor of science degree and a master’s degree from Creighton University.  She and her husband, Jerome, have two daughters, 17-year-old Gwen and 13-year-old Audrey.
