Inez F. Daiker of Ida Grove

Inez F. Daiker, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Wolterman) Knobbe, was born on November 28, 1929, in Breda, IA. She grew up on a farm outside of Breda and graduated from Breda High School with the class of 1946.
On February 9, 1948, Inez was united in marriage to Walter L. Daiker and the couple made their home in Breda and were blessed with sons David and Gary. In 1957, the family relocated to Wall Lake, IA.
The family settled in their forever home in 1958 in the town of Ida Grove, IA and welcomed two more sons Robert “Bob” and William “Bill”. Inez was proud of her family and enjoyed being a homemaker. She relished in daily coffee with her friend Demaris Swenson, completing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, watching Jeopardy, and going treasure hunting on yard sales. She was an avid collector of Barbies and Hallmark ornaments. Inez was a faithful member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove and a past member of the Blue Army.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Robert “Bob” (Barb) Daiker of Odebolt, IA, David (Linda) Daiker of Eagle, NE and William “Bill” Daiker of Buffalo, MN; seven grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica) Daiker, Candace (Brian) Beery, Zach (Deb) Thompson, Catlin Thompson, Jennifer Powers, Wendy Johnson and William Daiker; great-grandchildren Ashlynn and Lucy; brother Urban (Jean) Knobbe of Carroll, IA; sister Anna Mae Lawler of Carroll, IA; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Anna Knobbe; husband Walter Daiker; son Gary Daiker; siblings Vernal (Dorothy) Knobbe, Elmo (Arlene) Knobbe, Delores (Arthur) Petersohn, Marian (Vic) Kirby and Adeline (Al) Mohrhauser.
