More than $7,500 has been raised so far toward the $12,500 needed to package 50,000 meals with Meals of Hope in the upcoming Wolf Pack 4 Hunger event in Manning. The recent soup supper and donations from organizations, individuals, businesses and churches in the region has gotten them this far in their fundraising, but more is still needed to help them reach their goal. It only takes 25 cents to feed a family of six. A gift of $12.50 will sponsor 50 meals and $54 will buy a case of food to feed 216 people. Wolf Pack 4 Hunger is also in need of volunteers to help out before and at the Wednesday, April 3 packing event. They are inviting everyone to put together a team from their family, workplace, church, class or other groups and work a one hour shift between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on April 3. Volunteers can also sign up to help in other ways throughout that afternoon’s event at the IKM-Manning High School gymnasium in Manning. Those interested in participating can sign up through the link provided below. Details on how to submit donations are also included there.
