Late on Friday afternoon, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds announced more appointments that have been made to a variety of different Iowa boards and commissions. Three more local residents have been selected to serve. Barbara Determan of Early, who has been president of Heartland Marketing Group, Inc. of Early since 1992 and a volunteer committee member on the National Pork Producer’s Council for 22 years, will sit on the Iowa Great Places Advisory Board. Carroll County Supervisor, Gene Meiners of Templeton, has been named a member of the Mental Health Risk Pool Board, and farm owner, Gary Langbein of Sac City has been appointed to the Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Board.
