Just this past weekend, the Carroll Police Department reached out to residents via social media, advising them to bring in package deliveries as soon as possible and report any that are missing. They also suggested anyone who had rented a storage unit to check the contents, and again, notify them if anything was amiss. This notice coincided with the arrest of a Carroll couple, 39-year-old John Sanchez and 28-year-old Nicole Sanchez on Saturday, Feb. 9. The pair was arrested and charged with third-degree theft at approximately 6:41 p.m. for allegedly stealing a package from a residence.
