Minor damages were reported in a two-vehicle accident near Hy-Vee last Friday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department responded to Highway 30 and 9th Street at approximately 2:18 p.m. The initial investigation revealed that a 2005 Dodge Ram, driven by 53-year-old Bradley Griffith of Grimes, was westbound on Highway 30, pulling a trailer. A 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by 86-year-old Dorothy Zierke of Carroll, pulled out of the parking lot and hit the trailer. No injuries were reported.
