The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is reporting three drug-related arrests that took place last week. The first occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 23 in Stuart. During a routine traffic stop, Conar Hornsby and Samantha Henderson, both of Jefferson, were taken into custody. Hornsby was charged with possession of marijuana, third offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. Henderson was charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, first offense, first-offense possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. Henderson also has a pending first-offense operating while intoxicated charge. The second arrest took place on Friday, Jan. 25 when Stephanie Cooley of Guthrie Center was taken into custody on a warrant for a pre-trial release violation. According to authorities, Cooley’s original charge was for distribution of methamphetamine. She was booked into the Guthrie County jail on a $50,000 surety bond.
