A Lake View man has been cited not only for a Saturday morning accident, but for also leaving the scene before law enforcement and medical personnel arrived. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to Ivy Avenue north of Maple River at approximately 12:16 a.m. They found a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado that had rolled multiple times in the east ditch. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted, and 35-year-old Anthony Daniel Koster admitted he had been driving the truck at the time of the accident. He told authorities he was northbound, and while approaching a right-hand curve, he drifted into the southbound lane. He overcorrected, and lost control. No injuries were reported and there was an estimated $$60,000 in damage to the pickup. Koster was cited for failure to maintain control, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to provide aid or notify authorities.
